Projects Overview

Course Projects

There are two projects that students will undertake in this course:

Collaborative SDE Project

Students will complete a team-oriented, hands-on software development assignment. Each team is assigned one of eight real, actively maintained open-source projects — spanning Go, Ruby on Rails, and TypeScript — and contributes features to it across two sprints.

Research Reproduction Project

In this project, you will choose a research paper for which code-related artifacts were shared. You will be tasked with reproducing the results of the paper, and improving several aspects of the project from documentation to repository structure.

You can access the project information using the Left Navigation Pane as they are posted.
