Assignments Overview
There will be 4 Small Quizzes due throughout the semester. These quizzes will test your knowledge from topics covered in class and help to give me, as an instructor, a better sense of how the class is learning various concepts.
Quizzes will assess general concepts presented in the lectures with a mixture of multiple choice, true/false, and fill in the blank questions. The quiz content will be indicated below and on Webcourses, e.g., which weeks/days content the quiz covers. All quizzes will have a time limit. Each quiz’s time limit varies based on its content. The time limit(s) will be provided in Webcourses. The number of attempts on a quiz is 1 only. Quizzes are administered in Webcourses.
Note that the time lengths will generally not allow you enough time to look up concepts from class slides or notes. As such, it is suggested that you set aside some time to prepare for the quizzes.
Quizzes represent the only assessment that will not be accepted as late submissions, after the original deadline. The reason for this is that the answers will be automatically published after the deadline. Entrance and Exit Surveys will also not be accepted late.

All quizzes are due at midnight on the due date indicated, unless otherwise noted. See the full course schedule for additional information.
